Celebrating Our House Cleaning Professionals & Their Hard Work

National Housekeepers’ Week is September 8-14, 2024, and we’re taking full advantage of the opportunity to celebrate our hardworking team members! Merry Maids® employs over 6,000 cleaning professionals at our over 400 locations nationwide. We know that our success is built on the dedication of our staff, so we’ve chosen to make this week a little more special for our hard-working team members.

This year, we’re hosting a video contest called “Your Merriest Moment” where employees can submit a video talking about their happiest moments at Merry Maids, for a chance to win a $500 gift card. Our preview of the submissions indicates that our employees truly enjoy working with our customers and helping to give them one less thing to worry about.

Most local Merry Maids offices decorate for National Housekeepers’ Week, and many host various fun events including catered meals, spa days and other fun themed celebrations. This year many are hosting Merry Maids “Olympics,” with mock competitions such as speed mopping and vacuum belt changing. The friendly rivalry often results in much laughter, joy, and team bonding!

Our locations go above and beyond to make our team members feel valued and appreciated. We respect the hard work, dedication, and the positive impact they have on our customers’ lives and homes. This week is a small way to say thank you for everything.
