Patti Canterbury has owned the local Merry Maids franchise since 1987. The philosophy behind Merry Maids is a noble and thoughtful one: to give customers back the time they deserve and enjoy things they love by taking care of their homes.
Our History
In 1987, Patti started looking into owning her own business, and at that time, a housecleaning service was somewhat rare. Merry Maids was the top franchise in the industry, with its philosophy that it wanted its franchisees to succeed. They proved it with intense training and guidance, making Merry Maids live up to their commitment. Remembering back to when she first started out, starting a small business has many challenges, but she has kept focused on her goals and has been successful in meeting all her employees’ and clients’ needs. “For any new business to succeed, you make your adjustments and keep your eye on the ball,” shared Patti.
