Anne’s connection to Merry Maids began over 30 years ago when she married Rob Mascari, who, alongside his brother Tom Mascari, first began their journey with Merry Maids by establishing their first franchise. Following Tom’s passing, Rob went on to open three additional Merry Maids franchise locations throughout Maryland, continuing to grow the business and the legacy they had built together.

Following Rob’s unexpected passing in 2020, Anne stepped into the role of owner, carrying forward the business and the legacy Rob and Tom worked so hard to establish.

Before her journey with Merry Maids, Anne spent 13 years as an Intelligence Analyst with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), a career she absolutely loved and describes as the time of her life.

Anne and Rob raised three wonderful children together, and today, one of Anne’s greatest joys is watching them grow into young adults and seeing all the amazing things they continue to accomplish.

As the owner of our four Maryland locations, Anne takes great pride in the hard work and dedication our team members and staff put into making our customers happy. She especially cherishes the culture within our offices, describing it as “respectful, purposeful, humorous, and full of love.” Creating a supportive and welcoming environment where employees feel appreciated and connected is at the heart of her leadership.

Since becoming the owner, Anne has also gained a deeper appreciation for the thought and care that goes into every Merry Maids cleaning. She shares that she has learned “there are specific processes and details to each of our cleanings at Merry Maids”. This attention to detail is an important part of what makes the Merry Maids experience unique, ensuring that each home receives the care and thoroughness our customers expect.

Anne also recognizes the tremendous effort our cleaning teams put into their work, sharing, “Team members work extremely hard to clean to make customers happy and satisfied.” She takes pride in knowing that the work our team members do each day makes a meaningful difference for the families we serve.

At the heart of Anne’s perspective on Merry Maids is the time we give back to our customers. She shares “Merry Maids is there so that people have more time to do what they want.” By taking care of the cleaning, our teams give customers the opportunity to spend more time with their families, pursue the things they enjoy, or simply have more time for themselves.

Anne’s dedication to her family, her employees, and the business Rob and Tom built continues to shape our Merry Maids family today. We are incredibly grateful for her leadership and for the love and care she brings to our team and the customers we serve.

Fabiola’s Merry Maids journey began on October 26, 2006, when she joined Rob Mascari as the Manager of our Gaithersburg location. From the beginning, Rob placed immense trust in Fabiola, establishing a lasting partnership built on dedication, respect, and shared commitment to the company. That trust and partnership continue today through her close working relationship with Anne Mascari.

Nearly 20 years later, Fabiola serves as the proud General Manager of our Gaithersburg and Frederick locations in Maryland She brings exceptional leadership, dedication, and encouragement to the teams she oversees while helping ensure our employees and customers receive the care and support they deserve.

When asked about her experience at Merry Maids, Fabiola shared, “I am fortunate to work with an amazing group of hardworking women each day. We are like family. We don’t simply clean homes, we improve the lives of our customers by providing them with more time and to be able to do other important things in their lives.”

Her commitment to our teams and her understanding of the meaningful difference our services make in customers’ lives reflect the values at the heart of Merry Maids.

Outside of work, Fabiola loves staying active through running, strength conditioning, and Zumba classes. She also enjoys getting outside for walks with her Doberman.

With nearly two decades of dedication and leadership, Fabiola has become an integral part of our Merry Maids story. We are incredibly grateful for the experience, encouragement, and care she brings to our teams and for the lasting relationships she has built along the way.

During her time at Merry Maids, she has learned “to value every client we have and to treat my teammates well.”

When asked what she believes customers appreciate the most about Merry Maids she believes it’s “How amicable Merry Maids is as a company.” Her perspective highlights the importance of creating a friendly, welcoming, experience for both our customers and the families we serve.

Outside of work, Lorena enjoys spending quality time with her family and her three beautiful children, making special memories together.

Lorena has been an amazing addition to our team and we appreciate all her hard work and efforts during the past year she’s spent with us.

Since December 5, 2025, Akemy has been part of our Merry Maids family and a wonderful addition to our cleaning team. Over the past year we’ve watched Akemy quickly grow into an amazing cleaning professional and build a great connection with our team.

In her work, Akemy enjoys cleaning every part of a house, noting that her favorite part is when she is finished cleaning a house and gets to see the difference her hard work makes in the home. Her favorite cleaning product is bleach, “even though the smell is strong,” as she shared, it really can help get out tough stains and odors in bathrooms.

When asked about her experience at Merry Maids, Akemy shared, “I like having weekends free, I get along well with my teammates, and Merry Maids is great to me.” Having time for your personal life, as well as fostering a positive workplace environment for our employees is something we truly value at Merry Maids and when our employees, like Akemy, feel that experience, we are overjoyed.

She also shared that during her time with us she’s been able to learn “how to clean in a deep and detailed way,” which is very important to know how to do outside of work as well.

When asked what she believes customers appreciate most about having Merry Maids in their homes, Akemy shared “I think customers appreciate the good work and good energy we bring.”

Outside of work, Akemy enjoys playing soccer and says that outside of work she is “a lot of fun to be around.”

We have been so lucky to have Akemy as an addition to our Merry Maids family and can’t wait to see her continued growth within our company!

Since March 17, 2026, Maria has been a part of our Merry Maids family as one of our cleaning team members! Although she is newer to the cleaning team, she has quickly become a fast learner and a wonderful addition to our Merry Maids family.

In her work, Maria especially enjoys dusting and cleaning bathrooms. Her favorite cleaning tool is the vacuum because, as she says, “ it cleans very well.”

When asked about her experience at Merry Maids, Maria shared, “I’m a new employee and I enjoy working at Merry Maids.” We love that Maria has been able to settle in so well and has enjoyed her experience with us so far.

During her time with us, Maria has also learned a great deal about cleaning, sharing “I’ve learned how to clean well, since prior to working at Merry Maids, my only other work experience was in restaurants.” Her willingness to learn and develop new skills has already made a positive impact on our team.

When asked what she believes customers appreciate most about having Merry Maids in their homes, Maria shared, “The help we bring them by maintaining their homes’ cleanliness for them.” Her response shows that even in her short amount of time with Merry Maids, Maria understands the meaningful difference our team makes in the lives of our customers by helping them maintain a clean and comfortable home.

Outside of work, Maria loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Being a grandmother is a special role in her life, and she loves making memories with her family.

We are so happy that Maria found her way to Merry Maids and has become part of our family. We look forward to watching her continue to learn, grow, and make many more special memories with our team.
