Kim and Stanton Hinkly have been proud owners of Merry Maids franchises since May 2000. Their journey with the company began long before that — and it’s actually how they met!
Kim, a Kansas City native, started cleaning homes as a college student and quickly fell in love with the work and the people. She’s a loyal Chiefs, Royals, and Jayhawks fan who proudly calls NE Kansas home. Stanton grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and worked for the Merry Maids corporate office in Memphis, Tennessee. He’s a Cyclone through and through — and while his favorite football team had a lightning bolt on the helmet, well… options were limited in Iowa!
Over 25 years, they’ve built a life together around family, community, and a passion for helping others. Along the way, they’ve raised two kids, cared for a few dogs, played some regrettable rounds of golf, and managed their Merry Maids teams with heart and integrity.
Today, they continue to take pride in serving their clients and supporting their dedicated staff. For Kim and Stanton, Merry Maids isn’t just a business — it’s a way of life they truly love.
At Merry Maids, giving back is a core part of who we are. We’re proud to support organizations that make a real difference in the lives of people and pets in our community. Over the years, we’ve partnered with Pawsitive Tails to help rescue dogs find loving homes, and with Cleaning for a Reason, providing free home cleanings to individuals undergoing cancer treatment. We also support the Boys & Girls Club, helping to create safe, positive environments for kids, and we’re honored to donate our time and services to keep the Ronald McDonald House clean and comfortable for families with children in the hospital.
